As your Travel Plan Co-ordinator, David Groves is committed to promoting sustainable travel to and from SGS. There are a number of sustainable travel days, weeks and events in Scotland and globally where sustainable travel is encouraged. A number of these events are listed below:

National Walking Month – May 2025
World Bicycle Day – 3rd June 2025
National Bike Week – 10th June to 16th June 2025
National Clean Air Day – 18th June 2025
Bike to Work Day – 7th August 2025

I appreciate that it is not always desirable to walk or cycle with British weather, but where possible why not enjoy a walk or get on your bike during these events and do your bit for the environment?

David will be promoting a number of these events throughout 2025.
